About

Our Mission

The Mission of Live Axcess Entertainment is to provide Ohio State University students, staff and supporters with a quality disc jockey service that incorporates great music, affordable upgrades, and excellent customer service.

Company Profile

My name is Mike Salone (DJ AXCESS) and I have been a DJ in the Columbus area since Spring 2007. I started Live Axcess Entertainment because I felt Ohio State’s campus needed a DJ who had the energy to entertain college students and the professionalism to interact with campus leaders. Since then, I have hired and trained our team of entertainment engineers to be expert DJs MCs and lightscapers.

In addition to Live Axcess Entertainment, I also manage at Buckeye Sounds, a mobile DJ company specializing in weddings, bar mitzvahs and school dances.

DJ Services

At Live Axcess Entertainment we believe that the number one source of entertainment is music! We train our entertainment engineers to take requests, to select appropriate music, and to mix a high-energy show. Everything else we do is meant to amplify the response we get from the music we play.

DJ Services are priced at $40 per hour. We encourage you to utilize our packages for the best deals!

DJ Services include:

  • A professionally trained DJ
  • A wireless microphone to make announcements and hype up the crowd.
  • Industry standard turntables and mixer.In addition to DJ Services, we also provide Event Production for 300-1500 guests. We will work with you to bring your event to life. Let us handle the staging, sound, lighting, and presentation, so that you can focus on the promoting. Learn more on our blog.

Sound

Sound reinforcement is one of the main factors that separates good DJs from great DJs. Great DJs understand how sound works, the appropriate volume levels, and how to prevent malfunctions. You and your guests need to FEEL THE MUSIC and we are excited to accommodate your needs!

Sound Systems:
Freshman:  1100w of sound manifested in two 12″ speakers. $100 per event. 50-150 guests.

Sophomore: 1820w of sound manifested in two 12″ speakers and a 15″ subwoofer. $175 per event. 150-350 guests.

Junior: 2540w of sound manifested in two 12″ speakers and two 15″ subwoofers. $225 per event. 350-500 guests.

Senior: 6000w of sound manifested in 2 dual 15″ stacks and two massive 18″ subwoofers. $850 per event. 500-1200 guests

Just want to rent speakers? We do that too! We will train you on how to use the system and even do delivery and pickup!

Lightscaping

Lightscaping is the art of using different lighting effects to enhance the mood and excitement of a venue or dancefloor. From uplighting the venue to impress your guests as they enter, to creating dramatic dancefloor energy sequences, lightscaping is part of the entertainment engineer triple threat.

Party Lighting:
Includes one small wash light, and two small special effect lights. Essential lighting for a small party. $35 per event.

Formal Lighting:
Includes one large wash light, two large special effects and a strobe. $100 per event.

All-Axcess Lighting:
Meet with us to customize your own lightshow using all of our intelligent lighting! Price varies per event.

LED Stages
The hottest spot on the dancefloor… Period!

Green Screens and Photo Booths
Normal photo booths are old! Get your picture taken with your favorite celebrity or in your dream vacation spot. We can match your theme, send pictures to facebook, and print pictures within 30 seconds! See a sampling of pictures here.

Packages

Packages are a great way to keep things simple and to add value to your purchase. Check ours out and always feel free to ask us to tweak them  a little to suit your needs!

Party Package:
This package  is designed to rock your smaller, more informal events. Great for up to 100 guests, the party package rocks!
Includes: DJ Services, Freshman Sound System, and Party Lighting
$150 plus $25 per hour

Formal Package:
Our most popular package is for a fun, yet elegant affair. We add extra sound, for up to 250 guests and our customized lighting will have your venue looking fantastic!
Includes: DJ Services, Sophomore Sound System, and Formal Lighting.
$200 plus $25 per hour

Cookout/Tailgate Package:
Buckeyes love a great tailgate and we would love to be a part of your pre-game rituals!
Includes: DJ Services, Freshman Sound System
$125 plus $25 per hour

Philanthropy Package:
Have a cause you are passionate about? We want to help! Let us provide entertainment and direction for your event, while making sure your cause gets the donations and attention it deserves.
Includes: DJ Services and Freshman Sound System
$100 plus $25 per hour
